Pursuant to Decision No. 2945/QD-UBND dated November 2, 2015 of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Department of Industry and Trade of Dak Lak;
Pursuant to Decision No. 235/QD-SCT dated September 29, 2017 of the Department of Industry and Trade on promulgating the Working Regulation of Dak Lak Department of Industry and Trade;
I. General principles:
The assignment of tasks in the leadership of the Department of Industry and Trade is carried out according to the following principles:
1. Implement the principle of democratic centralism, the collective leadership, the individual in charge and the implementation of the headship regime.
2. The Director of the Department is the person who leads, directs and administers all activities of the Department of Industry and Trade, is personally responsible to the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, Ministry of Industry and Trade and the law for all activities of the Department. Industry and Trade according to their assigned functions and tasks and the provisions of current law, including the work assigned or delegated to the deputy; Directly direct and administer important and strategic jobs such as guidelines, master plans and plans in the fields of work under the tasks and powers of the Department of Industry and Trade.
3. Departmental Deputy Directors assist the Department Director in performing the duties and powers assigned by the Department Director and take responsibility before the Department Director for the performance of the assigned tasks and powers; at the same time take responsibility before the law for the solved work.
In addition to the specific tasks and fields of work assigned in the process of solving work, there should be coordination, exchange and support when the work is related between the deputy directors to ensure all activities of the company. The Department followed the plan. In case the work is related to the deputy directors and the deputy directors have not yet reached an agreement, the deputy director shall assume the prime responsibility for handling such work and report it to the director for consideration and decision.

- In charge of general, leading, directing, operating and comprehensively managing the performance of functions, tasks and powers of the Department of Industry and Trade. To be accountable to the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, Ministry of Industry and Trade and law for all activities of the Department of Industry and Trade according to their assigned functions and tasks. Directly in charge of the following areas: planning, planning; attracting investment in development of industry and commerce (industry, commerce); directing the state management of electricity, science and technology, renewable energy and new energy; internal affairs, emulation, commendation and discipline; personnel organization, finance and administrative reform.
- Account holders of budgetary funds allocated to the Department of Industry and Trade;
- Directly in charge of: Department of Planning - Finance - General, Department of Energy Management and Department of Safety & Environment Engineering;
- Monitor the development of industry and commerce of Buon Ma Thuot city, Buon Ho town, Cu Mgar district and Krong Nang district
- Relationship, work coordination with agencies, departments and districts, towns and cities of the province in the assigned field;
- Perform a number of tasks of members of the Provincial People's Committee as assigned by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

- On behalf of the Director to direct and handle the Director's affairs, when the Director is absent at the office or authorized by the Director; deal with urgent tasks of other Deputy Directors in the absence of such Deputy Directors as assigned by the Director;

- Help the Director of the Department to monitor and direct the state management work in the field of trade promotion, import and export; office administrative work;
Directing the calling of all economic sectors to invest in trade, support and guide investors to develop commercial infrastructure, support associations, industries and businesses to develop domestic and export markets. password; consulting and supporting businesses to build and develop brands; cooperate with domestic and foreign trade promotion organizations to promote trade development in the province.
- Directly in charge of:   Department's Office, Import-Export Management Department and Trade Promotion Center.
- Monitor the development of industry and commerce in Cu Kuin, Lak, Krong Buk and Krong Bong districts;
